This Is Going To Hurt

CBS News-New York Times poll:

Seventy-nine percent of those polled — including 61 percent of Republicans — say GOP leaders were more concerned with politics than the well-being of the teenage pages.

You can fool all of the people some of the time…

There will be consequences in November.

Unless, of course, an old-fashioned Diebolding can be arranged…

That only works on the fringes and only for state-wide offices. The midterms use too many variations of ballot for an effective hack.

I think that margin of who ya can fool *all of the time* might be LARGER here at Dennis Hastert Corner – if the measure or *HASTERT* Yard signs is any proof. I could be wrong (and pleasantly surprised on Nov 8th)…but I won’t hold my breathe or nothing!

Not holding my breath, either. Of those 61% of Republicans, at least 60% of them are convinced their own congressclown is a pillar of rectitude who would never stoop to putting politics over a fetus and if they did – the fetus was probably a little brown one who deserved it to begin with.

And they’ll vote for him/her once again.

Karen, I really think that Hastert is in major trouble with women, even in his district. A sign on the lawn doesn’t mean there’s a vote in the house.

His opponent hasn’t had the money for signs and such, but that should be coming his way now that the district is in play.
