I don’t doubt for a second, Bobby, that some of this are politically motivated denial of service attacks, and other script-kiddy, brute force actions. You can deal with them, but they are a drain on resources.

Blogger had to waste a lot of time cleaning out a nest of spammers setting up accounts not that long ago and it’s cheap to hire a spammer to target blogs.

Ellroon, I sense they are still having hardware problems and problems sharing the load in their server farm. My feeling is that your ability to post is a reflection of which server your site is on and the time of day.

There will definitely be problems on election day as usage spikes across all of the Google network.

OWL, I think the timing of posts is a key. Being in the middle time zones helps take the edge off.

Damned Blogger. It said SUNDAY, and I have been having a hell of a time posting since Friday night.
