andante, Tabitha sleeps literally on top of Stella, and does not snore, but her purr is loud enough to hear at quite a distance. Samantha usually keeps to herself, but occasionally joins the family for a minute or two just to make sure she is still welcome. Of course she is. I like dogs just fine, but I prefer cats as bed-warmers because they are softer and they don't squirm as much... usually.

Actually during the night Sox becomes an excellent and much appreciated foot warmer, while Dot tunnels under the comforter to assume her position on my right side, making it impossible to roll over in the night.

Steve, I have a three dog night every night! And mighty fine little heating pads they are, too.

Of course, it helps that they are Chihuahuas, who don't shed or slobber.

They do, however, snore almost as loud as Mr. Andante.
