I may have to write Pelosi a letter like the one I once wrote Joe Biden regarding his condemnation of Bill Clinton for the Lewinsky affair, a letter that began, "Dear Sen. Biden: Whatever were you thinking?" What, indeed, were they thinking? Reid's explanation of their "reason" (and I use the word loosely) for removing timelines from the bill was completely unsatisfactory.
