Friday Cat Blogging

Hurry UP!

[Editor: Zipster looks like Income’s younger brother, but he is feral. When I go out to feed the “pride” Zipster dashes around my feet at full speed. He may leap up a tree and then jump down and take off, full tilt, in another direction.]

Friday Ark

In Memoriam

Last weekend Melanie at Just a Bump in the Beltway had to say good bye to her good friend, Eddie Purrington Mattson, after an extended illness.

Friday Ark #159…

We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….? Visit all the …

Like any other small cat he is full of beans. He is extremely handsome

Well, he thinks he is, Jams. He keeps slamming into my ankles as he dashes in with his tail straight up.

Beautiful young cat. I suppose it’s not all that amazing that adolescents of any species are full of vinegar. Zipster surely thinks slamming into your ankles is a great game.

I worry about my obit reading “died from spoon handle embedded in chest after tripping over cat” – not very dignified.

What a gorgeous little cat. He looks just like my Leo did at that age.

If they decide to cooperate, I may get pictures of Income who looks almost identical except for size. Both have a very subdued tabby pattern that can only be noticed in the right light.

Aw, now that is a pretty kitty. He looks a lot like my youngest. Cute! What energy these youngsters have!

some of my black kittens are turning out to be very very dark tabbies. mom cat is blue all over, but with slightly darker tabby rings on her tail. no way of knowing if the other two blues have rings on their tails. 🙂

OWL, the color is close, but Gray Feather has a touch of Maine Coon, while the feral pride are all short-hairs.

Ringo had noticeable tabby rings and ringworm as a kitten, hence the name. The tabby rings have faded, but are obvious on her kids at the moment. Income may fade out like his mother when his final coat grows in.
