Go to Elayne’s place and check out Harry Shearer’s music video, Waterboarding USA.

Harry is probably the best known unknown person you don’t know you know and wouldn’t recognize on the street. If you click on his name and look at his Wikipedia entry, you will understand what I mean.

Best in Show was the funniest of his recent films I’ve seen, but I didn’t realize how many voices he did in the Simpsons.

He does a lot of voice work, which is why people don’t know who he is, just that they have heard him.

I remember the Jack Benny Show on television – re-runs on the Armed Forces Network, but not too many years after the original.
