One thing that does really annoy me though is criticism from someone with their own obvious flaws… I usually respond (if at all) with “People in glass houses…”

Oh… and I also really can’t stand the “well-intentioned do-gooder”! God (or someone!) Please save us from them! You know the type… the ones who are so certain they know best, that they will do what they believe is in your best interest, no matter what ones wishes on the subject are! I think most of the people in that category became, or were already, members of, the rightwingnut mutual-adoration “I want Bushgod’s lovechild” club (even the males!)

It’s been quite some time since I was a trouble-maker (Hmmm… Texas in fact!) Where the barman said to us “I think you better leave now! We don’t like troublemakers in here!” Right before one of his kinfolk tried to king-hit me! Hmmph! Double standards indeed!

(But… I will admit… it was fun!) LOL

Ahhh… the wildness and excesses of youth!

These days it is a lot easier to manage an in-box or comments, so it’s not as crucial.

Personally, I was in law enforcement for a decade, so I’ve been called everything imaginable and no small number of things that aren’t. Amazingly some people get annoyed when facing a decade in prison and lose their sense of social propriety. Nothing anyone says about me, bothers me anymore.

Yup! One of the things that I noticed and that attracted me to comment here. I like sarcasm, satire, irony, parody etc! You’ve no doubt noticed. I can obviously be serious as/when required. It’s just so damned difficult to be serious when discussing the morons on the extreme fringes! Not just the rightwingnuts, but the neo-Christians, the faux-news (and not just FOX either!) etc, etc! I cannot stand any form of extremism. I saw too much of it. So I may occasionally *do my nut* when one of these extreme nutters says or does something really insane (which seems to be happening a lot these days!)

I really, REALLY *TRY* to ignore Trolls… really, I do! But… but… some of them just beg for it!! I just can’t help myself sometimes! On the plus side, my colleges and regular readers of LM usually found it entertaining at least! LOL *sigh* One of them (usually Mark!) would post when an obvious Troll said something really stupid, something like: “Ohh! Now you’ve done it! Wait until Kryten reads this!” etc. LOL Well… I couldn’t disappoint my friends, could I? LOL

The biggest problem with sparing with Trolls is that it gets very boring very fast! And in truth, I would much rather have a long, intelligent debate the members (or your good self) here than spar with a moronic Troll these days. I have much more intelligent discussions with children than is possible with a wingnut. Still… I may have an occasional swipe for fun.

Forewarned, etc… However, this is your blog, and your rules are the only ones that count. No worries about that!

Oh, trolls come by, but they are generally ignored. I don’t ban people, but I’m not going to respond to stupidity and most of the regulars feel the same way. I have a minimal spam system that reduces the ads, but I have some real winners in the comments archive, and a few that were forwarded to the appropriate “authorities”.

Don’t worry about being told, although it tends to sarcasm more than screaming around here.

One thing that amazes me here (so far) is that you seem to have avoided the usual rightwing nutter Trolls! I am sure many other bloggers would love to know how you did that! LOL

I’m happy to help out where I can, and if you already have what I post (links etc), then that at least means I’m on the right wavelength (and at the right place!)

Whatever ego I may have had was well and truly destroyed in Cambodia. So no worries about that m8!

I enjoy truth and honesty, especially from those I respect. If I screw up, I expect to be told.

Upon further review, it turns out that GOP presidential candidate John McCain is on the board of directors for this non-partisan Republican group. He wants to be our president and engaged in the voting process, I think he should come forward and explain why his group hasn’t made the polling data available to the public. Other names of interest on the board of directors are L. Paul Bremer and Lawrence Eagleburger. These people are just fine with fair and honest elections — just as long as they’re outside the United States.
