"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."

Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

hahahaha… I love that pic! I’ve had it for years! 😀 I forget where and when I got it, but was a while ago. 🙂 I think I gave a copy to LadyMin some time ago! 😀
Always reminded me of Caddy Shack! LOL
I don’t either, or I would give someone credit. I’ve had it on my machine for years – probably received it from a relative. The picture is the reason for the post. I know what the cats are like when it’s cold, they are rolled into circles, and I disturb them. I can’t imagine that groundhogs feel any differently.
Hey… I have that picture too!
I think that groundhog was in my yard digging up my garden last summer.
Fire one!
Well, look at this! I can finally access your blog, and leave a comment. Scary that.
Oh, and sorry this is off content, but a man has got to make himself heard.
Ah, the plucky groundhog! A perfect symbol for the day, and a perfect symbol for my 29th wedding anniversary!
I am celebrating by maybe sort-of getting a little appetite back….and a bit of a taste for some good won ton soup.
Many happy returns of the day to ye!
Happy anniversary to you and Mr. Andante! I’m glad that your life is returning to a semblance of normal, whatever that may mean.
Things were fine for a short time today, Rook, and then went back to flaky. It’s like they are fixing it, but not fixing the entire problem.
I’ve felt that way recently, Frederick.
