The kitten is a dark tabbie over white, and is a single, so it should fare well. It has walked into my Mother's kitchen when the screen door didn't close tight, which means I might be able to catch it for a trip to the vet.

That kitten looks like it's going to be a nice looking cat when it grows up. The patterns in its coat are so interesting. Those cats all look happy and well fed.

Lone Ranger and her sister, Tonto, kitten-sit for each other which reduces their stress. LR is the alpha in one of the families in the feral tribe. If you are in a family the other members will provide support which makes life a lot easier. Food and territory on what is controlled, so if you are a fringe cat, you may be allowed to stay in the territory, but you will have to wait until the others are done to eat.

Nice shot Bryan. Feral colonies do have complex social sructures. I get the feeling that Bebe was probably a pretty low status female before she was rescued.

It would be nice if people didn't assume that since they see cats in the area, they can just drop off their cat and things will be great. There are three feeding stations in a relatively small area, because different segments do not eat together or get along.
