“There are no Presidential candidates on this list.”

It’s not as if Mad Kane and I, along with a few other people, didn’t try: we urged Barbara Boxer to run, back a few years ago. We even had a blog, “President Boxer,” though I believe it eventually became the personal blog of one of the members.

In light of today’s votes, I am trying to decide whether I am now a Man Without a Party. Considering there are still 28 Democratic senators (well, OK, one of them is an independent) willing to vote to retain the rule of law, it’s not an easy decision.

I guess Ted Kennedy gets a pass because he’s been sick, but this is just pathetic. The cowards don’t know how to respond because they have no spine.

It’s not surprising that Congress has single digit approval ratings.

Good ol’ Boxer is right there. 1/2 of our Senatorial duo.

BB has been a winner for a long time, which helps to make up for the disappointment that is Senator Feinstein. There was a time when I worked to get her elected governor, and would have worked for her and BB for the Senate if I hadn’t moved back to Florida.

Feinstein’s husband is making too much moolah in Iraq for her to be truly “unbiased” in her voting

It always comes down to money.
