Curious & Crazy

Friday Cat Blogging

You can release me, I’m not dangerous.

[Editor: CC [Crazy Cat] was hand raised by my Mother, and now lives with her neighbor. Originally named for her habit of joining you in the shower, she has had some world class cat fits. The neighbor has all of his cats on leads when they are outside.

Now that is one strikingly beautiful feline, and a great pic of her. And yes, a cat who will voluntarily enter a human shower is indeed a Crazy Cat.

curmudgeon cat loves baths, either his or mine.

She is so beautiful. Entering a shower? Hmm is that crazy or within acceptable parameters of lunacy for a cat!

I can assure one and all that she is quite insane, even for a cat, and she attacks feet. The problem with a cat who likes showers is that you lose one of your more important training aids – the squirt gun.

She is sentimental and still has the teddy bear she slept with as a kitten.

CC is a calico, and I think there’s something about that color that makes them congenitally nuts. Kaylee and Koshka are tortie and calico, respectively, and are both as mad as a box of frogs. Koshka eats lint, and Kaylee sings to it…

The third color may detract cells from the brain because I’ve noticed the same thing – other colors may have an occasional cat fit, but it is guaranteed with tri-colors. It changes the anesthesia the vet uses for “the operation” as one of the normal drugs can have an adverse effect on cats with fits. The vet tech automatically assumes fits with tri-colors, although she refers to them as “energy bursts”.

The weird eating habit rings a bell – cellophane and string are ingested by my “fit” cats.
