OT: The news here last night was all over the typically stupid photo-op stunt in NY! Even the mayor didn’t know about it! Goldfish have better memories, and more common sense, seriously.

OT2: My new VPS host has finished setting up a brand new server for me and I just started playing with it! I have a bit of a learning curve ahead over the next few days, but I’m looking forward to it… kinda. 😉 So, with any luck, I should be back in business soon!
OT 1: They were taking bloody Air Force publicity photos. What in hell difference would it have made to have told people they were going to do it? What in hell is the Air Force doing wasting fuel taking publicity shots? Who on earth thought that people wouldn’t notice a 747 and two F-16s screwing around over NYC? There are some Air Force officers who need a new line of work.
OT 2: While it is always nice to get to work, it will be a PITA to learn the quirks of a new system. I hope it does what you need in a reasonable fashion.
