Well done! :D I'd wait a bit on the Vet trip. If he does decide to befriend you, he may well fell betrayed if you do that too soon and make you pay for a long time. Cat's have very long memories and rarely forgive! :) Though, of course you know that. ;) "preaching to the quire"...
