He is too restless to have a partner. The pairing would have to be Sox with either Dot or Property. Property likes the fact that Sox is a large, warm, lump and often sleeps next to him.

The color is the same, OWL, but he is a very short-haired cat.

There was a typo in my response, Badtux, he wouldn’t object, but he would last long. For the long-term you want Sox, who is happy to do it all day.

Property is really weird. She wants you to put your hand out so she can walk under it for rubbing. She will dance around on a table while circling under your hand. She may be purring, but you can only tell when you touch her, as her volume control is stuck at .1.

Well, I guess I’m spoiled by The Mighty Fang and Mencken, then. TMF starts purring with the approximate decibel level of a Harley when you start rubbing him, as well as kneading big-time, and when you rub him Mencken rolls over like a hog in a mud wallow and starts drooling on you as he purrs. I just assumed that the Tax Guys were rubbing-friendly, since they’re not ferals. Oh well, at least Income is a handsome kitteh!

Well, Jams, the problem would be when he realized he was about to get wet. I don’t think his entry into the water would be very smooth.

Steve and Jill, we all wish it was time for the summer Olympics. Of course, it is warmer in Vancouver than down here, but we both have had rain.

Badtux, he has a coat like velvet because it is short, while Sox and Excise have silky coats. He would object to rubbing, but he wouldn’t hang around long.
