Late Night

So I finally got around to reading Krugman’s column on The Mortgage Morass [a polite way of saying foreclosure fraud] and the Obama response [corporations have the “expertise”, so the government will let them handle it].

I noticed on the sidebar another column, The Tools You Really Need to Maintain Your Home, by Bob Tedeschi, which was OK, but Bob forgot the three most important things you need when dealing with the real threat to your home, the banksters.

Warren Zevon spells it out: Lawyers, Guns, and Money. That’s what Wall Street is using, so you need the same tools.

Me too Bryan (late night) 😉

Lynard Skynyrd had a song called ‘Mr. Banker’, and Frank Zappa had a couple songs about bankers. He doesn’t like them much apparently. 😆

OT: Have you seen this? Came across this article while I was searching for something else.

EU Times: Russia Reports Over 2 Million Dead In US As Mysterious Die-Off Accelerates

Further supporting the findings of Russian scientists was Greenpeace International, who in their report titled “MON 863: A chronicle of systematic deception” warned that the campaign to unearth and evaluate data about this most dangerous of genetically modified grains demonstrates, beyond all doubt, that MON863 is unfit for consumption.

Most unfortunately for the American people though, all of these warnings have been ignored by their government masters who have allowed the mass planting of these genetically modified crops to such an extent that in the United States today fully 80% of their corn and 93% of their soybeans are of these dangerous varieties and leading one Russian scientist in these reports to warn that our World is now on the verge of experiencing an ecological disaster of “Biblical proportions”.

And according to these reports this ecological disaster is well underway in the United States and supported by American death statistics showing that of the nearly 2.5 million deaths reported by them each year the number of “sudden deaths” has increased to 40% equaling out to over 2 million “mysterious and unexplained” deaths from early 2008 to March, 2010.

The problem with GM crops is that they infest normal crops. Monsanto is constantly suing farmers for “stealing” their genetic modifications because the pollen from Monsanto crops is carried to the fields of farmers who don’t use Monsanto seed.

Many of the modified crops have infested corn crops in Mexico, which alters the crops to the extend that they can’t be used in the traditional fashion in Mexican food.

There are a lot of reasons for unexplained deaths around the world, but generally it is because someone with power doesn’t want them explained. For example, the Tazer company, big polluters, dictators, agribusiness, organized crime…

You can’t screw with the environment in massive ways and not generate a lot of death. Given the level of funding that is supplied by corporations that are suspects in massive die offs, it’s not surprising that answers aren’t forthcoming.

I thought you might want to have a look into it. You have more time on your hands than I do! 😉 😛 😀 (Actually, I am still getting over an infection and swollen glands, plus PC troubles). *shrug*

As for the accuracy of Russian reports… The EU nations are taking it seriously, and France has launched it’s own investigation. The Russians are as reliable as the Brit’s, American’s, French… whoever! We’ve had had a lot of experience dealing with Russian (Soviet) reports and people. It’s amazing just how accurate they can be… when they want to. Right Bryan? 😉 😀

Now of these “mysterious and unexplained” American deaths, these reports continue, nearly all of them are lung related and being erroneously documented as being caused by influenza and pneumonia type diseases so as not to panic these peoples, but have, instead, been caused by as an yet unidentified plant virus that has successfully jumped the species barrier to human beings.

Supporting Russian scientists in these conclusions is new research being conducted by the Didier Raoult of the University of the Mediterranean in Marseilles, France, where for the first time in human history a plant virus has been found to cause problems in people.

BTW, It’s being researched and validated here by major Universities. This was reprinted from “New Scientist” here:

Evidence of First Virus That Infects Both Plants and Humans

It’s only the start of the investigation. The US isn’t interested (big surprise), but thankfully, many other Countries are. Canada has begun investigations, as they are close to *ground zero* and have a very vested interest. 😉 Monsanto is working hard here to stop the investigations, but since the Coalition isn’t in power, aren’t getting far. 🙂

BTW… People who still think Obama isn’t as bad as Bush/Cheney… may want to read this… or not! 😆

Special army unit ready to be deployed on American soil just before Nov. elections

The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is ‘may be called upon to help with civil unrest.’

Update: The Cato Institute published this warning when the program was launched in its first phase in 2008 (the program has been updated and expanded since 2008). The Founders insisted that standing armies were never to be used against American citizens on our own soil, no matter what violations of this principle have occurred in the years following. In the spirit of the Patriots and of real journalists government must be questioned constantly and held to intense scrutiny in order to preserve liberty.

Whether they are deployed or not is immaterial. The fact they exist and *can* be deployed on US soil against US citizens is the problem.

Bush/Cheney may have accelerated the destruction of the US Constitution, but with all I’ve seen the past couple years, it seems that Obama want’s to finish it. *shrug*

PS… I don’t trust the source of that article either FWIW! 😆 😉

The military thing was another Hedgemony “wet dream”. They wanted the military to do everything, and were constantly trying to get governors to give them the power whenever there was an emergency. The biggest problem they had was Rumsfeld, who didn’t see any role for the military beyond killing people.

Obama won’t dump it because his “advisors” are afraid the Republicans will call them wimps. About half of what they pull is out of fear of being called cowardly by the Republicans. OTOH, they couldn’t care less what Democrats think, which is why they may lose big in this election.

As for the virus – there is no reason that I’m aware of that would make such an occurrence particularly remarkable. Viri are neither plant nor animal, and there are already several food-borne illnesses that survive on plants that are a good deal more complex than a virus.

In case you missed it, the Russians are stirring things up because the heat wave and attendant drought wiped out their grain exports and they are worried about losing market-share as a result. For their part, US producers are stressing the reliability of their supplies. It’s always about money.

There are probably dozens of viri that can move between plants and animals, but we haven’t really been looking. Seek and ye shall find. Most viri are so small that you have to be looking for them to notice their presence. I would suspect that some of the agribusiness corporations are afraid that it will be discovered that the virus they use to do their modifications is one of the switch-hitters, and that it escaped their lab controls.

The air quality in the US is getting so bad, that a virus would have to work very hard to be noticed.

8 Kryten42 { 10.18.10 at 10:02 pm }

I suspect you might be thinking of bacteria. 🙂 There has never been a plant virus that has successfully transferred to humans (at least, as far as the research I’ve done to date confirms). It appears from initial research on this new virus that it’s not completely compatible with humans (the DNA part anyway), but that the RNA part has the ability to interfere with human RNA (possible the mRNA part), which has never been observed before. The problem is that the mRNA is the chemical responsible for transferring *information* from the RNA to the DNA (in very simplistic terms). If this virus mutates to the point where the DNA becomes human compatible, it’s game over. The reports claim that many of the 2mill deaths the past few years could be attributed to the virus interference with human RNA. Nobody knows for certain because the USA (and Monsanto and other Corps, such as Glaxo) refuses to even discuss it, let alone share the research that others know has been done. If it’s not a problem, why are they hiding it? 🙂

Kryten, the only people who might be doing any serious research in this area are corporations, and they don’t release their research anymore. The Hedgemony wiped out government funding of research, so most of the people working in the field are dependent on corporate grants and have non-disclosure agreements. That’s why no one should expect to see any US research published. In the old days the government was a consistent funder and much of the research appeared in the journals, but those days are over.

The US basic research is a shadow of what it was in the 20th century, which is why so many Americans are heading to Europe to do their research.

Viri are used as the tool set for gene manipulation. They are used to slice genes and then to assemble the new ones. Many of these viru are themselves constructs and patented tools, that don’t naturally occur. There are many instances, the most obvious the phosphorescent genes, that have been spiced into both plants and animals at labs around the world, to produce, among some useful things, oddities like pet fish that glow.

The fact that people haven’t noticed that a particular virus is present in both plants and animals, is a matter of chance. There is no logical reason it can’t happen.

As for the “2 million deaths”, there is no way of drawing any conclusions because of the lack of a functional health system in the US. You can’t get reliable figures for US deaths for many reasons, including the fact that many of the people who sign death certificates are not required to be doctors in many jurisdictions in the US. Not every state requires medical examiners, who are doctors, and in those with the old coroner system, the coroner is usually a funeral director.

People miss how primitive some things are in the US. Hell, there are reliable reports that between 50 and 100 thousand people die in the US every year from mistakes made in hospitals, and many of those deaths are covered up for malpractice reasons.

People need to understand that they can’t compare their medical and research systems to the current lack of a system in the US.
