TMF had the same decision to make last night, but it was about a huge moth that somehow made its way into my house that was fluttering about the bathroom fixture. He finally decided that leaping would be fun, but coming back down after leaping was going to hurt given his weight (around 20 pounds) and condition of olditude (around 14), so instead he turned to me and went “Meow! Get it for me, butler!” I didn’t, of course 🙂 .
Hadley would have gone ballistic with a moth, but TMF has experience to govern his instincts.
Grass is always good. Cats sure love it. Hadley is quite the pretty kitty… Striking, really, with those pretty white accents on the feet.
He is a light gray tabbie which is relatively rare among the ferals, and he likes grass a lot. Most of what he eats is the result of spillage from a bird feeder, rather than the regular grass.
