‘Honorable Men’
A week and a half before the election the Director of the FBI sends a letter to Congress implying that the Bureau may have discovered more information regarding Hillary Clinton’s e-mail server as a result of a separate case. He does this although he is not required to do it. He does this although doing so violates a long standing Justice Department policy and procedures. He does this although he has no idea whether such evidence exists because the FBI didn’t get a search warrant until two days after the letters were sent to Congress.
Then, after not working for a year, a system that publishes responses to multiple Freedom of Information Requests starts posting FBI reports on the investigation of Bill Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich in 2001, one week before the election.
We are not supposed to assume this has anything to do with politics because James Comey is an honorable man, and the FBI, they are all honorable men 😈

If this was happening in, say, Russia, we’d be talking about how the national security establishment was intervening in a national election on behalf of their preferred candidate. But apparently mentioning the elephant is not permitted here in the U.S. press…
How, in Ned’s Name. could the supposedly intelligent director prefer a lying, cheating, groping demagogic buffoon like Trump? I suspect the answer is he doesn’t and that he’s got enough on him that w’ll get him impeached leaving Pence in charge to complete the Nehemiah Scudder revolution.
Does anybody seriously think that Trump can hold the presidency?
Looked a lot to me like the FBI is attempting a preemptive coup against Hillary Clinton. At least, that’s what the headlines would read if we were talking about any other nation’s premier national security police doing this kind of intervention in their nation’s presidential election…
There are people in the Justice Department and FBI trying to convict the Clintons of something, anything to justify the millions of dollars and years of work expended to find something that will stick beyond lying about ‘having sex with that woman’. It doesn’t occur to them that the Clintons are well aware that they are being watched and recorded and don’t take chances.
There are so many avenues to impeaching Trump, that people are obviously thinking about Pence, who at least knows when to shut-up.
