Tehran, Iran (CNN)- Attackers have mounted simultaneous gun and suicide bomb assaults on Iran’s parliament building and the tomb of the republic’s revolutionary founder, in one of the most audacious assaults to hit Tehran in decades.
At least 12 people were killed and dozens more injured in the twin assaults on the Iranian capital, state media reported. A third attack was foiled, Iran’s Intelligence.

Iran’s foreign minister has denounced as “repugnant” a White House statement on Wednesday’s terror attack in Tehran that said Iran was a “terror sponsor”.
President Trump had said he was praying for the victims, but added that “states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote”.
But Javad Zarif said Iran “rejected such claims of friendship” and claimed the attackers from so-called Islamic State had been “backed by US clients”.
Thirteen people died in the attacks.
He refuses to read briefing papers, and doesn’t know what his own State and Defense Departments are doing.

Ms Wallace was the communications director for the White House under the Shrubbery, not a raving left wing nut case. Junior and his brother, Eric, are even more worthless than their father.
Those arguments are just the start of a long process. They are actually pretty meaningless. The emoluments clause is fairly straight forward, and says you can’t take money from foreign governments. Trump could have avoided all of the problems by putting his money in a blind trust, but he refused to do that. There are people with very obvious standing, i.e. they are financially injured by Trump’s not divorcing himself from his holdings, so the case will go forward.

No President cuts a trade deal. This kabuki was about giving executive branch approval for the Saudis to begin negotiations with the US military industrial complex about arms deals. Weapons deals with the US have to be cleared in advance. Once the Saudis finish their deal, the end product has to be cleared a second time before the sale can go through. It will be years.

Trump hasn’t did much of anything except waste tax dollars by going to his properties on weekends. He is a PowerPoint President – he calls meetings to announce ‘vision statements, but doesn’t actually accomplish anything.
