Good News

From CNN: “Martin Shkreli, who gained national notoriety two years ago for jacking up the price of an AIDS drug, was convicted of securities fraud Friday for mismanaging two investment funds.”

He won’t believe it until he hears that door go ‘clang!’

Hm. Neither will I.

Yeah, he’ll appeal and this will drag on as he still has money for attorneys until the sentence is announced.

Yeah. He was tweeting away laughing about it. Be interesting to hear the sentence. Most Justices take a dim view of convicted felons laughing @ them, especially before sentencing. I hope the Justice has the balls & moral fiber to throw the book at the bastard. Still… we’ll see.

You know, if one didn’t know it wasn’t, one would think he was Trump the way he’s behaved & is behaving. *shrug*

His mistake wasn’t that he defrauded investors, that’s pretty much the job description for most people who work on Wall Street, he defrauded wealthy investors who have access to lawyers and politicians. That is why he will probably go to prison. smirking and tweeting before sentencing is not helpful for any plea for a reduced sentence.
