Currently about 445 miles [ 715 km] Southeast of Port Mansfield, Texas.

Harvey re-intensified after entering the Gulf of Mexico.

A Hurricane Watch is in effect for the coast of Texas from North of Port Mansfield to San Luis Pass.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for coast of the Gulf from Boca De Catan, Mexico to Port Mansfield, Texas and from North of San Luis Pass to High Island, Texas.

A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for the coast of Texas from North of Port Mansfield to High Island.
