And Downs…

Rubio’s ‘principled stand’ on the tax bill only lasted a day, and Bob Corker caved even though the deficit estimate for the reconciled bill is higher than the one he opposed.

Meanwhile city Of Nazareth cancels Christmas because of Donald Trump. Bethlehem had already scaled back because of the reaction to Trump’s decision. No one was smart enough to convince him not to announce his foolish move until after Christmas.

Yeah… right! Like Dotard Tantrum would listen to anyone but himself! Pfffft! 😂😂

Seen this? All of Twitter is laughing hysterically!
Trump judicial nominee struggles to answer basic legal questions at hearing

He even managed to make Sarah Huckabee Sanders sound almost intelligent by comparison!😂

Now don’t be nasty to that judicial nominee! He at least admitted he didn’t know, rather than saying he couldn’t recall, like Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III. He is at least being honest, which is a step up for GOP judicial nominees.

As for Jerusalem, someone had to tell Trump about the issue, because he damn sure didn’t find out on his own – it was on Fox & Friends [Pew Wee’s Fun House for ‘wingers}

We have corrupt Justices also. Some held in high regard. Such as this one hearing a friend’s case. He tweeted:

“Justice Lucy McCallum, who is good friends with 7 lawyer Justine Munsie, keeps suppression orders going in 7 Sex, drug and fraud scandal – Jane Doe & Ors v Shane Dowling. She stood down immediately from hearing the matter further.

I told Justice Lucy McCallum I was going to file a notice of motion for her to stand down from hearing the matter further for bias. She said “don’t worry about filing the notice of motion, I’ll stand down” and in effect admitted to being corrupt.”

The US Military apparently is nearing their limit of Neo-Naziasm & White Supremacy. An Article in the Atlantic:

Why Military Chiefs Are Condemning White Supremacy

It can’t end well.

I had some dick saying “The Military must obey the President!” So, I posted the Oath of Commissioned Officers:

“I, _____, having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God.”
(DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

And mentioned that not even the Army Civilian Corps Creed mentions POTUS:

I am an Army civilian – a member of the Army team.

I am dedicated to our Army, our Soldiers and civilians.

I will always support the mission.

I provide stability and continuity during war and peace.

I support and defend the Constitution of the United States and consider it an honor to serve our nation and our Army.

I live the Army values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

I am an Army civilian.

The Oath of Enlistment does say “obey the orders of the President of the United States” but primarily “orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

Which of course, you’d know. Seems many are surprised I know given I’m not American. But that’s because they’re morons. *shrug*

Everyone seems to want to forget the “Nuremburg rule” – ‘I was only following orders’ is not a defense and you will be held accountable for following illegal orders. That is part of the the UCMJ and was mentioned by the Commander of the Strategic Command [US nuclear weapons] when asked by a Congressional committee about the ability of the President to order a nuclear strike. Trump’s tweets are not an official channel for the military, as Defense Secretary Matthis made clear after Trump’s transgender ban.
