Update: Malaysian Government mocked for using barking rooster to celebrate Year of the Dog. That’s right, instead of a picture of a dog, the government bought full page ads in newspapers that featured a rooster ‘barking’.

My Chinese next door neighbor celebrated by turning on his laser light show that puts rotating lights on his house, since fireworks are illegal here. Living in a multicultural neighborhood is cool sometimes!
We have a large Southeast Asian community community down here, but they have been in hiding since Trump’s election. They don’t trust their safety any more. Things have changed, reverted to the mess we had back in the 1950s & ’60s. 🙁
