How do you even safely dispose of something like that? I mean, our local police department disposes of ammunition turned in for disposal by taking it to the firing range and shooting it out of guns for target practice. But obviously you aren’t going to be able to do that with this ammo!
No fries, thanks! I’m with Badtux. How do you dispose a plate of compromised ammo? Where did you find it?
You have to clean up the casings just enough to use a bullet puller. With the bullet out the powder can be burned. The primers still exist, but I’m not going to waste time detonating them.
It was in the grout between floor tiles in one of the apartments I manage, OWL.
