I just discovered that FEMA will test ‘Presidential Alert’ system next week. This system allows the resident of the White House to spam your cell phone and there is no “opt out” provision. The current occupant’s concept of a national emergency is anything that might threaten him, without regard for the nation.
I’m not interested is having the Toddler-in-Chief’s Twitter feed show up on my cell phone.

This is a business opportunity for a programmer to develop an app to block this. I put up with weather alerts, news alerts, and amber alerts, but I have no desire to lose minutes to the ravings of El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago.
I had to look that one up. I’m a little bit sad that caudillo does not appear to have the same root as caudal.
