Paraskavedekatriaphobia

Yes, it’s Friday the 13th again. The 13th falls on a Friday more than any other day of the week, so get over it. It’s only valid in in English and Portuguese speaking countries, so go visit a Spanish-speaking neighborhood for the day.

If you want to blame someone, it’s the calendar of Pope Gregory XIII that created this imbalance. [He obviously didn’t have a problem with the number on any day.]

I don’t have a problem with Friday the 13th, but this year, I was able to take it off. We had to plan the rest of our time off, for the year, so that was one of my days to take. I don’t remember if I accomplished much that day, but I certainly rested.🙂

Resting is important to accomplishing anything. I’ve been in a bit of a fog from doing the 3AM updates on hurricanes. Now I’m trying to catch up on sleep, especially since we are having our first cold spell.

I sure hope you’re managing to catch up on your sleep! Those storms are really scary.

Hurricanes give you warning. Tornadoes and earthquakes are really scary because they come out of nowhere. If you live in a hurricane zone you have to apt and calculate your risks.
