The reports from New Orleans keep talking about all of the Brazilians. Brazilians don’t walk across any rivers, someone had to bring them in. You can’t walk through Central America speaking Portuguese and not get noticed.

This was just theater for the base, with an implied threat for Tancredo to back off before he causes too much trouble.

Karl may have had to take over DeLay’s role in whipping people into line, but I can’t see him being as effective.

Or at least announce that it would do its job. Nothing is shorter than the memory of the American public. This will be forgotten in at most two months; then it’s business as usual. Don’t want to disturb the GOP base, y’know.
