The best part is that there is no “pardon” available for them to “get out of jail free”. This is going hurt them in the only way they care, financially. The decision on Jones v. Clinton is coming back to bite these people big time. Defense funds are the new Republican charity.

I expect all of the blawgs will have the info in reams. Criminal law is my field, so I’m going to sit back and watch. The reduced level of proof is going to be a real problem in defending this thing. You can’t go for doubt, you have to show something.

Yeah, Jim, those “John Does” may just be normal cover, or they may have a group of people in mind who will show up in discovery.

They note that, in addition to Libby, Rove, and Cheney, the suit lists “Defendants John Does No. 1-10 are persons whose identities currently are unknown but who are believed to be persons who were either employed by the United States Government in senior positions at all times relevant to this Complaint or who were political operatives with close ties to such persons.”

KOOL…and I am sure that part of the issue is the violation of their DUTY under their security clearances to do everything to Prevent her name being disclosed or confirmed as a NOC CIA operative. This whole “I heard the same thing too” crap or “just agreeing with what he said” will not wash as a defense to this affirmative duty.

I hope this goes well for her…they deserve to be held accountable by “Someone” — Since our Era of Personal Responsibility Child-In-Chief seems to have lost his way on what that means and NEVER holds anyone accountable!
