The merger of the multiple platforms has concentrated what had been separate communities, and new resources will be necessary.

I remember the introduction of the IBM-XT when everyone wondered what any one person would do with 10 megabytes of disk storage.

Now I’m not sure I did them a favor.

Prompted by the auto-renewal of a domain I registered a while back, and the impending renewal of the domain forwarding fee, I created a dummy site over on NearlyFreeSpeech and redirected the domain there. Now all I have to do is decide what I want to do with it. Sigh… indeed, it’s always something.
