But isn’t that the desired point? If they’re ready to sit down and try to work it out… if they’re ready to make nice, that is what needs to be done. There is no way the Isrealies are going to get rid of Hezbollah, unless they kill off all the folks in the area… which will just create more Hezbollah members. Truly, you are right about Hezbollah being home and don’t need to look for a way out. They probably want to end the fighting, though, as too many of their countrymates are being obliterated.
