The Smothers Brothers, in their pre-obscene days, even wrote a song about it. You remember it: “I fell into a vat… of chocolate. I fell into a vat… of chocolate. I fell into a vat… of chocolate. La-di-doo-dum, la-di-doo-dum day.” Fortunately, it got funnier after that. At age 21, the poor guy probably never heard that song, and didn’t know to shout “fire!”
