It’s not likely he’ll hang around anywhere that accepts US subpoenas unless he pardons himself as his last act in office.

Andante, it a European custom that never made it to the US.

I am unfamiliar with that term.

Once he no longer needs to hornswoggle the voting public into believing he’s “just folks” I’m sure he’ll go hole up in Jackson Hole or some other similar highfalutin’ place. He only bought the ranch just before the 2000 elections so he’d have a plausible “common man” front to put up.

Nothing about these people make sense.

There is something very psychologically, pathologically wrong with him and this “yes” men. They need more vacation. Permanent vacations. Preferably somewhere in Turkey with bars for doors and windows.

I just wish he’d insist that Cheney vacation with him.

After 8 years I turned in 60 days when I was discharged.

In law enforcement I started with two weeks, but was around long enough to start earning four weeks per year, but I turned in 8 weeks when I left after a decade.

It’s one thing to accrue the time, and another to actually be able to take it, as you note.

No one gets this much time off and still gets paid a full salary.

Disgusting. This is what he wants us to believe is “hard work”? Hell, I get close to five weeks of vacation time a year, which is great–but I hardly ever get a chance to take more than about a week or two of it. At least with the new job, I don’t lose it at the end of the fiscal year anymore. But I’d sure love to have a contract that would let me take a third of my time off of work!
