There’s too much of him to see what it is, Steve. I stay with IBM keyboards and Logitech mice because I’m used to the feel of both. Wireless mice not only eat batteries but they require a clear line of sight to the receiver, which doesn’t include cats.

Cordless mouse: strongly disrecommended. It will drive you crazy with erratic pointer motion, and it eats batteries unbelievably quickly. After a month with such a torture device, I went out and spent another $30 on a Microsoft Blue mouse… with a cord, of course.
]]>Actually, Jams, that’s one of the reasons I don’t own a wireless mouse. This way I can at least follow the wire to retrieve the wee beastie. It’s annoying when I have to call my cellphone to locate it under the dresser.
You might notice how late in the evening my two posts were last night, Jack. That was due to a tuxedoed tom stretched out across a keyboard shelf groaning under his weight. When it’s time for tummy scratches, nothing else matters. I wish I knew what it was that he flops on that causes all screens to scroll to the bottom.
