Personally, I’ve never understood why anybody not actually up for one of the awards gives a damn. I think I’ve watched maybe 20 minutes of an Oscar ceremony in my entire life, and that was at least two decades ago. I’ve got more important things to do tonight than sit around watching the “beautiful people” looking vapid–like negotiating icy roads so I can go read Scripture at the 9 p.m. Mass.
