No pressure other than the roots of the bush. I don’t like cast iron.

I wouldn’t buy to help anybody but me, but Louisiana is the best source of pipe in the area, if not the nation, and if you need something special, you can visit the factory in a day trip. If I was sitting on a contract with a performance bonus, I damn sure wouldn’t be waiting on China, those people will agree to anything and then take their own sweet time delivering the wrong product. I know people in California who have dealt with the Chinese and the story is always the same – hurry up and wait.

If those pumps fail after all of the publicity, anyone who loses so much as a lawn will be in a position to sue the Corps and the manufacturer in Federal Court.

HA!!!

You know damned well that these skimming, heartless skinflint motherfuckers billed for the best stuff and installed Chinese welded cast-iron pipes that’ll split right down the fucking middle as soon as they start to sweat from the humidity!

Buying pipe from Louisiana — as IF the Fed gives a flying fuck about this state or its economy or the logic of buying locally. Pfft! These cocksuckers have treated us even more shittily than REAGAN.

Things like a run of aluminum wire in the attic, or cold water PVC plastic pipe where hot water CPVC plastic pipe was needed.

You end up having to tear out walls or crawl through fiberglass insulation to fix the problem.

The real thrill is when some jerk installs copper water line, where refrigerant line is needed. The pipe is going to burst, and you hope like hell nothing living is close by when it happens.

It’s not like they don’t have all of the pipe in the world available in Louisiana. They make most of the US PVC there and with the petrochemical facilities they have every kind and type of pipe made available locally.

If the state tried anything the Feds would jump in to protect the contractor, a Republican campaign contributor and JEB’s former business partner.

Judging from what he found at Fix The Pumps, all they had to do to avert another purposeful tragedy was to buy the right thickness of pipe.

That’s it.

PIPE.

And they did a low-rent, half-assed job of it, and apparently on purpose.

If we had an actual Attorney General in Louisiana, and in the nation, we could, y’know, maybe CHARGE THEM WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER?!??!!?

They have the required design from the original 100-year-old pumps. They should just copy them and stop screwing around.

All they need to do is provide back-up power, and the system will work.
