When that becomes apparent to the Repugs trying to keep their jobs this will get really nasty.

At least Nixon was capable of GUILT and FEAR, whereas these scumsucking closet-cases (Karl Rove the Queen of them all) charge blindly on, arrogance feeding their greed, willful ignorance/disdain for the law as their self-adorned protection.

If the shit ever really hits the legal fan, I can’t wait to see Karl Rove be shredded in the rapidly-spinning blades.

That was the entire presidential staff until Abraham Lincoln, who hired a second secretary because of the war. She was a long-time Nixon employee and really loyal just to him, in the long tradition of personal secretaries.

With the godbotherers from Regent you can’t really be sure of their loyalty – Pat Robertson, their individual church, the Party, or the Shrubbery. Goodling will, at a minimum, be disbarred over this. They really didn’t believe the rules applied to them.

I wonder if they were counting on someone like Monica Goodling to fall on her shiny Christian sword and destroy the evidence in Jesus’ name… rather than run away and hide under the Fifth…

They just don’t make junior level staffers the way they used to in Nixon’s day…

Surely they have copies of everything that was “accidentally deleted.”

But this isn’t Rose Mary’s 18-minute gap; it’s more like 18-month crap. Leahy has it right. Subpoena the @#$%^ outta the lying $%^&*’s.
