Only itty-bitty kitty toes can do the trick, I need a pencil to operate the switch. At least they aren’t chewing on anything…yet.

Anya, think denim, because claws extended is the proper procedure on descent until you learn how to modulate to “slip and grip,” a technique only the top climbers ever master, and that leaves Morse code tracks of scratches.

Their latest is to climb up into my lap while I’m sitting in the recliner and then slide down my bare legs. They have not yet figured out how to pull in their claws while doing so.

Consequently, my shins look as though I’ve been walking through an overgrown blackberry patch in hot pants.

Ouch!

And all the kittens are still alive? You are a man of great restraint, Bryan! 🙂

That is why Belkin places the A/C power switch on the front of the UPS, not the top, and requires a press of about 2 seconds to turn it on or off. Not even full-grown cats could manage the trick. Well, maybe Jams’s cat Robyn could do it… at that bulk, Robyn could probably push the thing over altogether if it amused him to do so.
