Tort reform has never done anything about the insurance problems or the log jam in courts, but that doesn’t stop the cons from pushing it.
]]>Most lawsuits are anything but “frivolous” to those who file them, and most judges can weed out the few problem cases like this one. I don’t want to see legitimate lawsuits against, say, wayward corporations inhibited by laws that limit people’s legitimate access to the courts.

That was the silliest lawsuit I’ve ever read about. At first, I thought I’d see a notice in a day or so that the whole thing was a hoax. I hope and presume the fellow is no longer on the bench, with or without his pants.
