Common sense, military requirements and political analysis converge in this case, pointing to the utter inadvisability of instituting a draft. Therefore the Bushists will institute a draft. There, wasn’t that simple?

Aside to CG: that is one of many reasons I have not endorsed any major Democratic candidate yet. There’s plenty of time left; I can defer my inevitably being made a fool of for a while yet.
