I didn’t think I had read about that problem in Thomas Frank’s book… 🙂

I have enough trouble convincing people that the feral cats I look after, are in fact wild, and need to be left alone. I can’t imagine what it would cost to feed big cats, knowing what it costs me to feed the little ones.

Here in the United State of California, it’s not the wallabies as pets we’re worried about, it’s more of Michael Jackson’s collection of tigers, elephants, giraffe’s, etc. Seems he hasn’t really been paying the bills to the handlers for their upkeep.

We’re also worried about the closure of the Wildlife Waystation where “pets” as varied as tigers, lions, pumas, etc. are cared for when their owners “tire” of them. Where are these amazing animals going to go?

And, really, what’s wrong with Kansas isn’t the wallabies on the lam.
