We raised Shepherds for a while and if they get hip problems, you aren’t doing them any favors extending their “life”, because they are a working dog at birth, and if they can’t move to “defend the flock” the really go downhill fast. Some seem to die even as they are mending from injuries, and our vet mentioned the trend.

The kittens have taken after their mother coat-wise, which isn’t a good thing, because this sure isn’t Thailand.
