]]>He’ll half the people preparing their returns with software probably don’t know that there are changes that affect this year’s returns that aren’t in the package they bought in the stores.
There are also a number of large organizations that have had to get extension on sending tax documents to people, because they didn’t reflect the new laws, so no one should have filed yet, and things were already a bloody mess before the rebates.
I’ve been waiting for the final form I need to file mine, and have no idea when it will get here. I should have gotten it in the first week of this month, but I may have to file for an extension, because if my figures are wrong they’ll ding me for interest and penalties.
