Of course, that’s how these things all seem to start. No sane person would ever consider doing what they have done, for what seem to be their real reason, if you can believe McClellan’s book – to spread democracy and moderation in the Middle East. It’s insane, but they did it.

They couldn’t even figure out that taking out the Taliban and Saddam eliminated all of the checks on Iran. These people are dumber than rocks.

Yep. Just *business-as-usual*. 🙂 And how’s that whole Justice thing eh? Works so well. The wealthy get away with murder (literally) and the poorer classes get thrown in jail for wearing a non-GOP approved T-shirt. 🙂 What a great system of equality. 😉

And at least the Chinese & Russians (and most of the rest of the World) have a goal and some kind of plan. USA is the proverbial *Bull in a China shop*. No idea where it’s going, no idea what it’s doing when it gets there, and no idea what to do next. Just leaving a trail of destruction everywhere it goes. As a project manager, I’d hit it with the big red *PROJECT FAILED* stamp and throw it in the bottom filing draw for reference in the hope someone might learn from the mistakes on some future project. LOL

The only country China would really like to invade is Russia, because there is a whole lot of nothing with no one living on it North of the Russo-Chinese border. The thing with Taiwan is “face” not real, same as Tibet. China is really weird when it comes to expanding. All of their “invasions” were half-hearted, doomed to failure operations. They tend to look inward.

The Russians want to expand their influence and prestige, not their borders. Their population is declining and everyone wants to live in the few “modern” cities or emigrate.

The US seems to be about the only nation wandering around looking for trouble.

i thought that name sounded familiar [other than your posting about him on your blog before]. china wants oil, we let them invade iran [we get iraq, they get iran], world war breaks out, we vanquish everybody and end up with all the oil, looking like heroes to boot [but we had to invade iran to save it from the chinese!]. accidentally on purpose slipping the opposition a few nuclear secrets? small price to pay, since we're going to nuke them back to the stone age before it's all over with. you can't make this stuff up. :twisted:

Just order a battery for the President’s helicopter – that’s how Taiwan ended up getting shipped NUCLEAR TRIGGERS, one of the most difficult parts to manufacture.

I don’t imagine that people have noticed, but General McPeak, guy who reorganized the Air Force into this current mess, is an advisor the Democratic nominee.

Yep, things are going to change. 😈

She’s getting awfully restless, whatever is happening. It doesn’t bode well.
