The media don’t want to face reality any more than most Americans. If you point out problems you get called a “terrorist lover” and shouted down by the 25% of the population who are “true believers”.

If Congress wants to declare war, I can deal with that, because it is within their power. I will let my congressional delegation know that they can forget about ever getting any support of votes from me, but they get neither now for earlier votes.

They keep giving power to the executive branch, and then complain that they didn’t know the executive branch would use it.

We have a media and Congress populated by cowards. The only stand they’ll take is to attack people willing to stand up for what they believe.

Why isn’t CNN and the other major news media covering the Iran War Resolutions in both the House and the Senate, facing a vote this or next week???? Passage of these resolutions would effectively create a blockade of Iran, which without UN sanctions [which would not be requested by these resolutions], are an act of war.

You question them and all you hear is “You want the terrorists to win!” Well, what in hell can the terrorist win that the Shrubbery hasn’t handed them on a silver platter?

This is going to be an interesting period in American history to read about in 50 years, if someone in Europe is interested in failed states.

We really need some sanity in the US government. Every time there’s a nasty comment, the price of gas goes up. They corrupt and destroy everything they touch.

Osama bin Laden wanted the US out of Saudi Arabia, the US terrorized, and the world in pain with oil at $145 per barrel. Everything he wanted has been provided by the Hedgemony. The US government can’t even define “victory” in Iraq, but bin Laden has achieved all of his goals.

What is it with this need the USA has of using language solely designed to cause problems where none existed before? To us language designed to turn an ember into a raging conflagration? What is this lemming-like suicidal urge the USA has? Is it just simply insanity? pure stupidity? Too many hormones and steroids in the food supply? Did the USA revert back to early homo erectus where every problem had a simple solution, ie: Me. Bash. NOW! Uggh!

Perhaps the USA should adopt a new Anthem: Stpidity Uber Allus!
