The big telcos and cable companies are slow in responding. That may be a result of their network structure or a lack of people to actually patch the code.

Two months is almost instantaneous in corporate IT shops, but they have great documentation of what they were supposed to be doing [as opposed to what they actually did].

A quick check shows that they released the patch on July 7. I would have installed it the same day.
