Tue, 18 Nov 2008 23:52:30 +0000http://whynow.dumka.us/?p=6501#comment-40835I was only close to one large fire when I lived in San Diego, but members of my family had to evacuate during the 2007 fires down there and I had former clients who lost their homes according to mutual acquaintances still in the area.
With hurricanes you can do some scheduling and make some educated guesses, but a wind-driven fire can jump lines.
Hopefully, the worst is over.
