Recent moves to rein in the Pakistani intelligence services certainly played a part, because the ISI has been supporting Islamic whackos all over the region.

They go after US/UK citizens to boost the media coverage and damage India’s international business interest.

So much for “Attacking them there so they can’t attack us here” (paraphrasing) which we all know was a load of complete BS as soon as Bush uttered the words. Of course, this happened in India, so I presume the wingnuts will claim a victory because they didn’t attack the USA.
