Fortunately all of the contact made it possible for me to get her to the vet for the “operation”, which is a major factor in her long life span.

She amazes me every so often with a burst of speed, and kitten-like playing with a leaf, when the mood strikes her.

No acorns, though… no oaks in the immediate vicinity.
