Happy New Year to you, Jams. Of course we are the last country in the world to make it into the New Year because of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.

The problem is that the actions of Suffer not injustice Pratchette during the civil, war may preclude him from a coat of arms! Happy New Year Bryan

I think he probably shares Sam Vimes view of such things, but he won’t make a fuss in public [of course, in print is another thing.] He has been rather acerbic about the aristocracy in his books, so I don’t think we have to worry about it going to his head.

It’s always nice when one of the “good guys” win.

I’ve oft envied his incredible imagination. 🙂 I’ve wondered what it must be like inside his mind… then I usually am very glad I don’t know! 😀

He’s also a good man and humanitarian. 🙂

Thought, in recent years, the Honor has been somewhat tarnished in my opinion. The day that Billy Graham and Bill Gates (and possibly also Sam E. Jonah) received a KBE… That was the end of the entire concept of royalty and the true meaning of the Honor of Knighthood. It’s just another mostly worthless symbol now. *shrug* I suspect that Sir Pratchett might agree. 😉 I suspect that it’s not the preferred company he would choose to keep.

Still, if anyone can give the Honer back some of it’s old meaning and respect, perhaps Sir Pratchett will. 🙂

I’m sure that, if his Alzheimer’s will allow, it will be worthy of his brilliantly satirical treatment in a forthcoming novel! So, something very entertaining at least may come of this. I can’t wait. LOL
