]]>the current flowing through the channel at ft pickens is pretty strong, and the bottom drops of pretty steeply [for sand] so you can’t very far out from shore before you’re neck-deep in an untenable situation, but… early one morning, just about sunrise, a bunch of dolphins were playing in the standing wave there at the pass. i waded out as far as i could without getting swept out into the gulf, and got within a couple of feet of them. i kept hoping they’d swim just a little closer but they never did.
i never figured out f they were daring me to join them, or if they were laughing at me because they could tell i wasn’t going to try it.

You have a more graphic approach than I do, Frederick. I went through a dozen templates on my test site before I decided to modify this one and use it. I have to deal with the reality of bifocals, so a serif typeface is much better for me.
