Some days you lost your boots to the asphalt.

Actually, IMHO, Dallas has a worse summer, because in addition to being 100°F+ in the shade, it’s dry much of the time.

I was once stuck in Wichita Falls waiting for my bus to be repaired. Now that was Hell!

Then again, like Badtux, I believe it was Mark Twain who said that the coldest winter he ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco.

Having lived in Texas for a year that was the longest year of my life, I gotta say Phil had that one nailed.

If it includes the majority of evangelical leaders, it is hell by my definition. The thought of an eternity listening to those whackos makes the odor of brimstone inviting.

If there were justice, heaven would be a small neighborhood pub.

Life on Earth is hell, death is heaven. I dare anyone to prove me wrong! LOL

And Willie Nelson is old enough he probably was one of the wise men…

In southeast Houston, the kings would have discovered eventually that they were following a gas flare at a refinery…

“It is highly probable we are all going to hell, for a given definition of hell.”

It is highly probable we have all already BEEN in Hell for eight years, for a given definition of Hell!

I don’t know about bass players, but drummers are satisfied if the stage is level enough so that they drool equally out of both sides of their mouth…

Every time someone sat an empty bottle down in the manger the thing filled back up. Strangest thing.
